I tried to block Pinterest through netgear router but it only blocks it on the device I set the block up on rather than at the router. Any suggestions?

If you want suggestions you need to provide some details so that we know what you are talking about.
How did you try to pinterest through your netgear router? What do you mean that it only blocks it on the device you set the block up on?
If Pinterest is being blocked haven't you accomplished what it is that you want to accomplish?

Visit http://welcome.opendns.com/ on the other devices to verify that they use OpenDNS. They must use OpenDNS for your dashboard settings taking effect.

Thanks. We are using a chrome book and the site is blocked for one user(who blacklisted Pinterest), but it’s not blocked for another user on the same chrome book (we have two people using the same chrome book and we log in and out as we use it). Any further ideas?

A really good further idea is to respond directly to the questions and ideas offered. We actually do ask the questions for good reasons and to find out specific information. Not answering the questions is just a waste of everyone's time.
For example we still have no idea how you blocked pinterest or what happens when you visit the URL linked to. From your description I'm not even sure that it's OpenDNS that is doing the blocking.
What exactly is it that you are trying to accomplish, and how are you not accomplishing that.

Copy & paste the complete plain text output of the following diagnostic commands to here from a computer/user where it does not work.
nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com.
nslookup www.pinterest.com.
nslookup whoami.akamai.net.
"We are using a chrome book and the site is blocked for one user(who blacklisted Pinterest)"
Can you please post a screen shot of where this Pinterest is configured to be blocked?
