Trouble Installing OpenDNS

Hello,

I have Verizon FIOS as my ISP. My router is Actiontec MI424WR. I have changed the settings to use the two OpenDNS server addresses. Additionally I have registered my local IP address on the OpenDNS site and set the filtering to moderate. I am currently using windows 10 and chrome (I have also tested on IE). I am not running a dynamic IP. As suggested on the install instructions I have flushed the local browser cache and the DNS resolver cache using C:\WINDOWS\system32>ipconfig/flushdns. After all this I am not able to get this to work. When I run the test it gives me the Oops...you aren't using OpenDNS yet error.

Based on reviewing previous questions similar to mine I ran C:\WINDOWS\system32>nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com in command prompt but I don't understand the results. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com
Server: Wireless_Broadband_Router.home
Address: 192.168.1.1

Non-authoritative answer:
debug.opendns.com text =

"server 5.ash"
debug.opendns.com text =

"flags 20 0 50 1950800780000000000"
debug.opendns.com text =

"originid 44344113"
debug.opendns.com text =

"actype 2"
debug.opendns.com text =

"bundle 8605337"
debug.opendns.com text =

"source 173.72.132.203:1024"

According to this output everything is configured correctly. If http://welcome.opendns.com/ returns Oops!, then your browser or a plug-in is circumventing your network configuration, but it uses its own DNS methods.  Or your ISP utilizes web caching technologies, ignoring your DNS lookup results..

From your output: your router at 192.168.1.1 is configured to use OpenDNS.  You're using the OpenDNS Ashburn (WDC) data center, and your IP address 173.72.132.203 is registered with OpenDNS network ID 44344113.
