Getting the following error:

"Circuit Sanity Check Failed. Unable to support the VLAN set for this node at Newman."

Any advice. I see nothing on Cisco.com

You normally get this kind of error when the maximum number of Spanning tree instance is reached. So you will have to change your topology with respect to the Spanning tree so that you dont face this problem. Spanning tree instances are limited to 8 per 15454 node. Or try disbling spanning tree. This should work.

Hi David,

As above, the ONS 15454 supports one STP instance per circuit and a maximum of eight STP instances

per ONS 15454.

(Chapter 13 "Ethernet Operation": 13.2.6 E-Series Spanning Tree (IEEE 802.1D))

I'd recommend creating the circuit with spanning tree disabled.
