From the network management interface on a 15454 is there any way to get into the customer's network, e.g. telnet etc., through a DS1, DS3, or Ethernet port connected to the customer's network? Is there a Cisco document that says if it is or is not possible?

What is the purpose of this? Is it to find ways to provide connectivity from the 15454 to the customer DCN or identify security issues?

I am intererested in identifying any security concerns. If I have a managed network service which includes 15454's do I have to be concerned about the network provider being able to get into my network?

I had spoken to my rep about this some time ago and he mentioned that there is no outstanding security issues with the 15454's. You might want to check with Cisco for an update.

If your IP telemetry is on a closed network, you should not have a problem. Just don't create SDCC terminations for dropped circuits.
