2950's work with some WS-G5484 and not others

We have multiple 2950's interconnected with ws-g5484's. We recieved some new 5484's with handles instead of the squeeze type and they are not recognized by the 2950's. Both types have the same 30-0759-01 part #'s and came from the same vendor.

Any ideas?

I have my supplier looking into it, after reading forums I went back and found the packaging and it looks like they may have sold us refurbished (non-genuine) units. Labels and sealed foil packaging looks legit however the manuals were photocopies and 2 of the 4 we bought were missing the dust plugs.

Sounds like a good reason for selecting another supplier!
