Can I use FET-10G to connect server's CNA?

Hi All,

    Can I use FET-10G to connect betweet Nexus 2K FEX and servers. Or it's just for FEX connection between N2K and parent switch? Thanks in Advance!!

According to the Cisco Nexus 200 Series Fabric Extenders Data Sheet, the Cisco Fabric Extender Transceiver (FET-10G) is:

• Supported for fabric links only (Cisco Nexus 2000 Series to Cisco parent switch)
• Cisco Fabric Extender Transceiver must be connected to another Cisco Fabric Extender Transceiver
• Supported on Cisco Nexus 2200 platform uplinks
• Supported on Cisco Nexus 5000 and Nexus 7000 Series Switch fabric links

The FET-10G is a special purpose-built SFP only to be used for 2K to parent switch.
