Compatibility Cisco GLC-BX and MediaConverter AlliedTelesis

Goodmorning to everyone.

We need you help about the GLC-BX SFP compatibility with the Media Converter

Allied Telesis AT-MC1008/SP.

In particular we want to try the Cisco GLC-BX with AT-MC1008/SP (1Gbps ethernet trasmission on one single fibre).

Are there anyone formerly use this solution?

Can we consider AT-MC1008/SP and GLC-BX compatible?

Or there are problems?

If they are both media type LX they should work. You can replaced the AT-SPLX10 Allied Telesysn SFP on the MC with the cisco SFP.

And if both media type is BX?

(one Cisco GLC-BX in ATI MC and the other one in a CiscoRouter or Switch)
