I've been looking at the 10Gb CWDM sfp page located here Cisco 10Gb CWDM SFPs and I'd like to understand why the Color column only show's "Red" normally the wavelengths are different colors.
Is it a typo or am I missing something :-)

It is not meter what color of SFP module (all of them drawn the same color RED), you have to order correct part number of SFP. Just do not pay attention of color RED:)

Red is the color of the bail latch (handle) on the SFP. SR is beige, LR is blue, ER is red, ZR and DWDM are green. It's not really a standard, but it at least gives you a visual cue.
You can see other colors listed halfway down this document.
XFP handle color coding is similar. I've seen white used for fixed wavelength DWDM and green for tunable DWDM.

Yes, I agree with the WALLIAM and Kayukvvalera, the color of the bail latch is made by vendors, they just use different color to distinguish the SFPs, you should pay more attention to the specification of optical modules when purchasing them.
