We have a DWDM ring with 4 nodes A, B, C, D. in order. Right now we see error " DATA-CRC Bad packet count Exceeds Threshold" on node A and and C 10GE_XPE card PMM port. both direction is "Receive" and Location is "NEAR" which the the node B in between has no alarms at all. Since the alert reported on PPM port 3 on node A and PPM port 4 on node C, Devices connected to Node B has no communication with the devices connected to on other nodes.
We have replaced the PPM connectors on node A and C, we also reset the 10GE_XPE on node B, nothing helps. We need your expertise to give us some clue on how to fix the issue. Thanks in advance.
