Do you know if 4461 ISR SFP+/10 Gigabit Ethernet port (TE 0/0/4) accept 1G SFP?

Cisco-branded optics are highly dependent on what firmware the router is on. Each Cisco-branded optics have a "minimum" version required for the host platform (router, switch, FW, WLC, etc.) to be on. And Cisco-branded optics require regular firmware upgrade because of bugs.
3rd party optics, however, do not have this restrictions.
