Hi all,

 

Just wanted to clarify is this transceiver GLC-BX-U has patch cord of LC?

 

if yes, what are the model ?

Not sure if i understand the question correctly, 

 

You have SFP you can LC Fibre patch to connect - then yes you can LC patch cord.

Hello @frankie_sky ,

the most  important info is that to build a working link you need:

one SFP GLC-BX-U on one side

one LC to LC fiber

one SFP GLC-BX-D on the other side

 

Because these special SFP use a form of DWDM with one type transmitting in second window 1310nm and receiving at 1490nm and the other type doing the opposite tx at 1490 nm and rx at 1310 nm

 

They are used to be able to use a single fiber cable instead of a pair of fibers like conventional SFP and SFP+ do.
