GLC-SX-MM to GLC-SX-MM-RGD

Hi guys,

We are planning to use 1552E APs with rugged SFP GLC-SX-MM-RGD. The switches are Cisco 3750X series.

1. It seems Cisco 3750X series do not support the rugged SFP GLC-SX-MM-RGD. Can anyone confirm this or has used the rugged sfp with 3750X?

2. If the 3750X doesn't support rugged SFP, we are planning to use GXC-SX-MM on the switch and the rugged on the AP side. Will this work?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Delgee

Using a GXC-SX-MM at one end and a GLC-SX-MM-RGD at the other will work.  They are both 1000Base-SX compliant transceivers.

The key is to confirm compatibilty between the transceiver module and the hardware it is being install in.
