how to install new card to the existing 15454

i have new cards which is CISCO 2.5Gbps Multi-rate DataMuxponder 4ch 1558.17-1560.61 (15454-DM-L1-58.1=).

if i install to the existing system, is it will affect the system?
do i need to reconfigure the existing system using DWDM metroplanner before install the new cards?
what are the correct steps to install the new cards?

Answers to

1/, no it will not affect your system as these cards are hot pluggable, and as long as you insert into the right slot (refer to the Cisco documentation)

2/ you should not for minor card addition like this.

3/ you will find the procedure document for the applicable rel of ONS software you are running. The procedure will have a section that documents steps to install various card type.
