MTP cable for ONS15540 ESPx OADM and LCMB

I will be doing some lab testing for ONS 15540 ESPx.Need to connect the LCMB direct to OADM using MTP cable without going through the cross connect drawer as describe in the hardware installation manual. Looking at the cable spec on some brands I'm evaluating, there's always the notation of MTP or/and MPO. What's the different between MTP and MPO connector anyway? Apreciate your prompt response, thanks.

For 15540 ESPx, the reference to MTP and MPO are the same. Sorry about the confusion.
