MTRJ port on a 2940 Catalyst switch

What should the connector type be on an optical patch cable to connect to MTRJ port? Male or Female?

The patch cords should be male on both sides.

that's weird however, the only way I managed to get the link up today was using a female-female patch cord..

Guess, I'll just have to re-order the patch cords.
