We're using ONS 15305 with Cisco Edgecraft 1.2. Inside this ONS we have STM-1 module and T3 module. A VC-3 inside STM-1 is mapped to a T3 port.
What do "far end" and "near end" performance statistics in VC-3 under PDH T3 port mean? Are these statistics coming from actual T3 port, or from VC-3 inside SDH to which this port is mapped?
Is it possible to see statistics for actual VC-3 inside STM-1?

when monitoring near end performance monitoring for a VC3 circuit that means the monitoring for errors are centrally located to the 454 node that the VC3 card resides in, and that you have to check towards the VC3 patch panel to the customers equipment for problems. Far End performance monitoring means that the monitoring is being done from the far end 454 node through the cross connect cards and through the fiber optic spans.

Thanks for your reply.
Please confirm that I understand correctly:
near end - errors are coming from the PDH T3 (customer side)
far end - errors are coming from the SDH (network side)
