Solved: Rx power low warning

Hi all,

I'm running on cisco 3750E series switch stack and getting following errors in log

"SFF8472-5-THRESHOLD_VIOLATION: Gi2/1/2: Rx power low warning; Operating value: -19.4 dBm, Threshold value: -17.0 dBm"

There are two ports in this module and other one is working fine. Can any one suggest a troubleshooting process for this regards .

First troubleshooting step - upatch each connector in the path and clean the fiber ends using a fiber cleaning kit. Check the Rx power levels after each repatch ("show int trans det gi2/1/12")

Second step - if that doesn't fix it, have your cabling vendor come in and test the optical loss of the end-end link. Replace or repair and faulty connections or links.
