Hi all
i want to connect 2 2600series routers with eachother with serial cables
i have a CAB-SS-V35MT cable and in the routers are WIC's installed with SS connections
Will this now work if i buy a CAB-SS-V35FT (female) cable???
i doubt because both SS ends of the cable are DTE and normally one should be a DCE
Or do i then just put a clock on an interface
Can anybody provide me a (as cheap possible) solution?
Thank you

On side of the router should be configured for DCE for clocking

There are crossover cable available for pretty much all of the available serial interfaces from Cisco. However, I don't think any of them are produced by Cisco.
Ebay has 'em by the bushel. They are most frequently used in Lab setups.
Your other option would be to find some cheap CSU/DSUs and cable them together with a UTP crossover cable (1&2<-->4&5).
OTherwise, try "Cisco Serial Crossover Cables" in your favorite search engine.
Good Luck
