2 cluster in 1 Prime License Manager (PLM)

Hi,

We have 2 clusters that are having 1 Prime license Manager (PLM). We are planning to upgrade the cluster 1 from version CUCM 10.5.2 to version 11. So we need to migrate the licenses from version 10.X to version 11.x.

Questions:
1. Is there any impact on the cluster 2 once we migrated the licenses to version 11.x. Note.* We are not going to upgrade the cluster 2.
2. Is there any chances or ways that we can retain the other licenses to version 10.5.2 that can be utilized or that will be consumed for cluster 2 devices?
3. Do you have any ideas on how to separate the 11.X and 10.X licenses that installed or uploaded in one prime license manager.

Any help and suggestions will be so much appreciated.

Thank you so much

Licenses are PER version, so

A) you will need to install the license definition files for 11.x if you want to use a 10.x PLM, if you use a 11.x PLM it can work with previous versions license files

B) Given the above, the 10.x cluster will use 10.x licenses, same for the 11.x cluster.

Hi Jaime,

Thank you so much for quick response. Is that mean that both 11.x and 10.x licenses can be installed in 1 PLM considering that two clusters will be using the licenses with different version of CUCM's?.

Thank you so much
