7900 Series Buffer Size

Dears Sirs,

Do anyone know the buffer size of 7900 series IP Phones and difference between their buffer sizes. I need to compare between bufer size of 7912G and 7940 buffer size.

hi,

I don't have numbers for the exact buffer size, but i can tell you that the buffer size for 7912G is very much better than 7940/7960.

actually, the 7940/7960 doesn't have a dynamic buffer size, while 7912G does. This has affect when you have a high jitter counts on your phone.

this means that in case of high jitter, 7912G gives better quality than 7940/7960

First of all, thanks for your reply.

Secondly, can u send me a referance document for that because I have doubts because we are suffering from Jitters especially in 7912 phones more than 7940/7960.
