Hi,
I've recently acquired a nice new 7941 phone for testing out SIP, and at present am attempting to do so in a non CCM environment (but that may change in the future).
Can anyone provide me with details of where I can find, or better still, a sample basic SEP<macaddress>.cnf.xml file for this? Something that I can put in the SIP proxy, userID, password and specify the codec (g729) at least for starters - and if there is documentation on other parameters that I can read up on my own then that'd be simply brilliant.
The network side is all OK, I have IP connectivity and tftp working fine, but it's the config file syntax which is tripping me up.
The 7940 configs were of course easy to do this with but I don't think the 7941 supports the old style config anymore and expects everything in some undocumented xml format :(
Thanks in advance,
Reuben

Unless I've read wrong, that PDF refers to the old style (name, value pair) configs, not the newer .cnf.xml type XML. But thanks anyway.
I've just (in the last hour) come across some sample cnf.xml configs for SIP posted on http://lists.berlios.de/pipermail/chan-sccp-users/ it looks like those will have the information I need.
