When I run the IP Phone Address Book Synchronizer, it tries to get the contacts out of the Windows Address Book instead of my Outlook Contacts. It seems that Windows Address Book is integrated with Outlook Express but not Outlook. Does anybody know how to force the Address Book Synchronizer to sync with Outlook Contacts?

I love this forum sometimes!
I was working on this very issue yesterday and was frustrated with the fact that Personal Directory/Fast Dials syncs with Windows Address Book as opposed to Outlook Contacts (who uses Windows Address Book anyway?). Actually, in the documentation it says that it synchs with Outlook Personal Address Book. Neither one of those are practical at all for me as all of my users use the Exchange based Outlook Contacts. I have been looking at IP Phone Productivity Services which does seem to synch the CM PAB to the Exchange Contacts, but I don't think I want any of the other features of PPS as it seems a bit clunky to me. If I find a way to hook Personal Directory/Fast Dials directly to Exchange based Outlook Contacts I'll post the info here.

(1)Add the Outlook personal address book within Outlook.
(2)Add or import personal entries in Outlook personal address book.
(3)Import into Windows Address Book the entries from Outlook personal address book
(4) Tabsync( IP phone adress book syncronizer) will sync entries from
Windows address book to that CCMuser.
I have not tried this myself , but got info from someone. Post a note if this doesn't work.
