ATA186 & Fax Machine with CM

Can I connect a FAX machine to the analog port 1 on the ATA186 and set up a G.711 connection on the port with a DID number on my 3.1.3c Callmanager and have faxes come in and go VOIP to the fax machine?

Also...is there any product that Cisco has that will allow a modem connection through VOIP?

Yes, the ATA can do fax. See:

There are a number of platforms that can do modem passthrough, including the AS5300, 17xx and VG248. Soon IOS 12.2(11)T will introduce modem relay on a number of platforms.
