Hi:
customer running cm 4.02asr2. upgraded backup utility from mcs 3.5.44 to bars 4.0.9.
backups keep failing at very end of process. last 2 lines of log are:
successfully backed up cisco call manager on x.x.x.x
backup failed: method '~' of object '~' failed.
tried changing bars version to 4.0.6 - same result.
no tar file is being written into the backup folder.
has anyone seen this ?

Hi Rob,
When doing a BARS backup, we move everything to a local staging directory which is c:\sti\backup.
I can think if we have have enough space in the CCM or if that directory is corrupt.
Could you please paste the complete log file and let us know where r u performing the Backup?.

We had this same problem. It turned out to be a corrupt file in the c:\cti\backup folder.
We renamed the current backup folder and created a new one and the backups completed successfully.

same thing - tac also found a corrupt file and once removed we were able to run the backup
