Can I use BAT to import the phone information(including CSS, location, etc) without the line extension so that when phone boot up it can get the extension automatically? Obiously I'll have the auto registration enabled. The reason I am doing this is because that we are deploying EM and the extension on the phone is virtual, which is not the same as EM line number and useless ,people have to log on EM to have long distance call features, etc.

No, if the phone is configured in the database, then it will not autoregister and get a phone number.

You could let the phone autoregister, then go in and do a bulk update of all the autoregistered phones with the new info.
