Have a customer who wants to be able to record and "drop" a new message to new subscribers. The reason is that they wish all new subscribers to have the MWI lit and have an information message left for them when they get their new phone.

a "welcome" message is an interesting idea (i.e. like Outlook does when you first fire it up). Unfortunately there's no easy way to automate this such that it happens every time you create a new user. You can certainly keep a canned voice mail message around that you forward to new subscribers (i.e. via outlook) but it would be necessary to do that as an extra step after creating the user(s) which is not really ideal for admins.

Any ideas for a solution with VMO?

Well, if you can leave a message to new users using VMO you can just use the "canned" voice mail message I mentioned. It'd be pretty easy to just leave a prerecorded voice mail in a folder in the admin's Outlook and after creating some new uswers they can just forward that voice mail to those new folks.
unless I'm misunderstanding what you're talking about with VMO?

Sorry. The customer doesn't have unified messaging. Only voice-mail. I was hoping that there might be a way to "drop" a prerecorded message into Unity/Exchange without having UM.
