Cannot access Cisco ATA186 Web page setup

I have the ATA186-L1. According to the manual I should be able to configure it through its IP address. I type in http://<ip adress>/dev

The page will not come up. I did try http://<ip adress>/reset. That came up with "ok." and a blue screen.

I have even tried the voice prompt reset, still i cannot access the web setup page.

The software is version 2.16.

This is how you reset the ATA186 back to default settings:

1. Unplug the ethernet cable.

2. Pick up the telephone handset

3. Press the function button on top of the ATA

4. Enter 322873738#* (Reset box configuration)

5. Hang-up

6. Pick up the telephone handset

7. Press the function button on top of the ATA

8. Enter 305# (Disables the use of TFTP)

9. When prompted to enter a value, enter 0#

10. When prompted with the option to save, enter 3.

11. Hang-up

12. Reconnect the ethernet cable

13. Try accessing the web page

I followed the directions in order.

It did not work.

Upon pressing the# key on step 4 the ATA responded with "CAFFWD."

I still followed the steps.and step 8 I got the same response.

And still no access to web setup..

I know the thing works fine. I was using it not to long ago with another service.
