I have a general question that for somebody to practice labs what software hardware Equipment and technology is needed to practice . I am adding what i know briefly please add to make is a good list
CCIE Switching and Routing
- Switches layer 2 and layer 3
- Routers
- Wan technologies, serial connection, Frame relay, ? any more please add here
- Services like DHCP, TFTP, etc, these can be easily installed on a desktop like windows and connected to network
- Please add you know any more components here
Generally saying these labs can be done at home with little equipment
CCIE Collabaration:
- Switches layer 2 and layer 3
- Routers
- Voice specialised hardware like ........
- Software components like call manager etc.
- .......
I am more interested in knowing about the CCIE Collabaration: what do I need and if there is a software component is it available freely for practice and also its licensed etc.
My Objective behind this question is before I decide and start working on any two of above what I am going to need. I really appreciate anybody who helps. Please be exact and clear thanks
