Hi all,
If I have two models MCS7835 and MCS7825, can I configure them as "callmanager clustering"??
If yes, can I make as follows:
MCS7835 as publisher, active call processing server
MCS7825 as subscriber, standby call processing server
Thanks all !!

Hi,
Yes you can do that not a problem.
Usually you would make the subscriber the primary and the publisher the secondary or tertiary if you had 3 servers.
The reason being the Publisher should remain free from performing call processing if possible as it has the read write DB.
But the way you want to do it will work fine.
All you need to do is in your callmanager group make the publisher the first server in the group and it will become the primary "active call processing server"
How many phones will change how you distribute call processing.

Samuel,
No problem you can run with different models and the way you mention setting them up would be the ideal way.
If you are using any CTI apps then point them at the publisher first, and let the subsciber handle the phones and gateways.
