CDP on IP Phone

How can I disable cdp on 7940 ip phone. I have an non cisco PoE Switch and there are some problems.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to disable CDP on the phone itself, it has to be done on

the port the phone is attached to. There is an option to disable CDP, however this can only be done on the 7902/7905/7912 phones.

The feature is not available for 7910/40/60
