hi,
i have a 3640 for off-net international call traffic to a voice provider.
i want to collect basic cdr data, what should i do for it?
with dial-control-mib settings, i collect data for voice call history, for a period of 24hrs with 100 records max.
what i want is actually not much more than what i can get with "sh voice call history brief" , right now all i can do is to run the command and collect the data manually, which is way primitive and time consuming obviously.
I suppose i should get the dial-control-mib and go with SNMP to get the data, which i'm not so familiar with. I cannot get valid replies for the corresponding OIDs (which may be invalid or out-of-date)
Do you have any suggestions on this, as well as any free CDR application that can handle and arrange this database a bit?
thanks,
Baris.

If you are using Callmanager with gateways, then CCM trace itself have CDR detail analysis and collection. Please go through the following link for more information.

no, we have a seperate call manager network but call manager is not integrated with this project.
right now, i'm using a syslog server to collect messages generated by the router for h323 gw accounting info, and than parse them at syslog daemon and put them up to an access database. it's not complete yet, but it seems to be of sufficient use.
