Hey Group:
I'm having an issue I can't seem to figure out. I'm running CME 3.1 on IOS 12.3(8)T5. Have it registered to GK (also 12.3(8)T5). When I place calls from CM to CME via GK, the bandwidth negotiates correctly at 16k both during call setup and once the call is connected. If I place a call from CME to CM, the bandwidth shows 128k the entire time, even though the phones actually negotiated g.729.
I played with the 'emulate cisco h323 bandwidth' command on the CME gateway, but this just makes the BW 64k no matter what.
Surely there is a command or setup that I can do to cause CME/GK to negotiate the bandwidth correctly.. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Vance

Just curious if the service parameters on the
CallManager for BRQ to be set to Enabled; I believe
the default setting is disabled.
Enabling BRQ should allow CCM to negotiate
bandwidth correctly after the initial bandwidth
request.

Sweet. I'm rebuilding the lab right now, so I'll test it tonight or tomorrow. I definitely did not change that setting and you are correct, it is set to disabled.
Thanks!

That worked. Thanks so much for the assistance.
