Hi guys,
Could someone please tell me the difference between Calls Attempted and Calls completed. I think call is attempted when a phone goes off hook and goes back on hook without making an end-to-end voice connection.
I was just checking the stats on my network and was amazed at the difference in the value of both parameters. Call Manager tells me that about 1/3 of the calls are not completed.
Regards,
Ade

Wrong forum for this question, but I think it has something to do with whether or not a call gets a Connect/Connect_Ack before it gets a Disconnect/Disconnect_Ack/Release. Of course, this may differ according to whether we're using PRI, CAS, Skinny, etc., but the idea is the same.

Thanks Adam for the reply.
I realised almost as soon as I posted it that I made a mistake. Thanks for answering anyway.

Ade
