Does the DPA 7610/7630 support Meridian Mail now?

I can't tell from the documentation and conflicting vendor information if the DPA 7610/7630 supports Meridian Mail integration with Call Manager. I heard that Nortel blocked this move. Currently I am connected but have no MWI, etc. What is the status of the product?

Hi,

The 7610 supports the Nortel Meridian 1 Release 17 and above. The 7630 does not provide support for the Meridian.

Hello,

Your email says the 7910 supports Nortel Meridian 1 which is the PBX. Is that what I require to connect the Meridian Mail to Call Manager?

As far as I'm aware, there are no ways to hook a CM to a Meridian Mail system. I've had several clients looking for this, and we've found no solution to date. The problem revolves around the "standard" Nortel uses for voicemail. In other words, they don't support SMDI, which is the only integration besides skinny that Cisco supports.
