DT24+ with a MGCP ATA186 Fax

The network consists of 2 CCMs with a DT-24+, a MGCP ATA186 with a FAX and a phone A. From a PSTN phone can call to the phone A, but the FAX can't receive fax even it is no problem to send a fax.

If a PSTN phone calls the FAX number, just got ring but can't hear the training (fax) tone.

The image of the ATA186 is ata18x-v2-15-ms-020927a-1, configured as the FAX paththrough(Audiomode:0x00120012) or Fax Mode(Audiomode:0x00150015).

Anyone has exprience about the DT-24+ with a ATA186 FAX? or the DT-24+ doesn't support the FAX ?

The ATA 186 supports only fax passthrough and not fax relay. On Cisco gateways fax-relay is on by default. For the fax calls to work between the ATA and the gateway, the fax-relay on the gateway must be disabled. Whereas, the DT24+ supports fax relay and not the passthrough. Hence, the problem in this scenario.
