I have avaya EPABX and Cisco 2621 Router with two E/M ports. I have connected this two ports to Avaya box and configured. I have got leased line - point to point -. After configuration, i am not able to reach remote ext number.

Issue here is avaya engineer done the loopback testing in epabx and it is working. How can i check the router end using loopback test? I am using IPSec and 3DES - Do u think this is the issue?

Expecting inputs from Cisco Voice Specialists......

Thanks

You could forge a "cross-over" E&M cable (TX to RX, E to M, ground to ground - if 4 wires; or audio to audio, E to M, ground to ground - if 2 wires) (or something similar if you don't use Type V E&M). Also: can you connect an FXS card to the 2600? you could connect a telephone set and configure this port to answer when the "extension" is dialed.
