E1 link to Mitel R2 card, Anybody have experience on it?

I'm trying to connect an E1 link to a Mitel R2 card, anybody know how to configure the Mitel R2 card, what's the role of the R2 card on the network, should it be configured as a PRI card,SX-2000 NT,or a gateway?

Anyone can send me a configuration both on cisco router and R2 card will be highly appreciated.
