Echo - Users hear their own voice back with IP to IP phone calls

I have users reporting echo and static on calls made within our ip telephony network. I have experienced the same thing. When I talk my own voice echo in the earpice and I cannot hear the person I am talking to. The other person doesn't hear anything abnormal.This has been happening the past month or so and there has not been any upgrades or changes to the IP telephony system that I am aware of.

And what I am looking for is advice on how to troubleshoot this type of problem. All I have right now is a pdf on "troubleshooting Echo problems between IP phones and Cisco IOS gateways". Are their any other publication or tools out there to help in this process? Also, I am running CCM 3.3.(3) with phone load P0030600400.
