Has anyone had echo problems with IP Communicator and USB headsets. I'm using a Plantronics DSP - 100 Headset. If I click on the headset button in IP communicator, the person I am talking to hears an echo of themselves. If I click on the speaker button (configured to go to the headset) the echo problem disappears. Using a headset connected directly to the sound card has no echo problem at all. Anyone else have this problem?

Make sure they're using headset mode, not speakerphone mode, to make calls.Echo is caused by users with microphones that are tuned too high typically

Actually, it is the headset audio mode that is having the problem. If I set the speakerphone audio mode to point to the headset, I can use the speakerphone button and not have any echo. When using the headset button, the other person hears an echo of themselves.

Joel- I use IP Communicator and the same Plantronics headset you have. I have not had any echo issues yet.
