Extension Mobility

We just upgraded to 4.1.2 with 7960 phones and are using extension mobility. After the upgrade, the login and logout procedures are taking longer and we get a message that the phone is resetting. Is this normal? If not, what can be done to speed up log in and log out.

Hi,

we have the same problem. After a successful upgrade to v4.0 the ex.mob takes much longer to log in.

When you enter your user id and password, choose select the phone shows 'login successful' and then shows 'Resetting, please wait' this is there for 5 seconds, after that time the log in is finished.

Based on the information that I have found it appears that a file is missing and causes the phone to reset instead of restart. The link below applies to the 7970 phone, but I think it applies to the 7960 as well.
