What are the components needed in order to install Unity as:
1. Simple Voice Mail
and
2. UM
This would be a dual switch integration (CCM + Avaya's Definity).

Thank you

The requirements for the Unity installation are the same regardless of if you're installing it as a POV (plain old voice mail) or a UM (Unified Messaging) install. The only difference between the two is that for a UM install you've installed the Exchange server on the Unity box into an existing Exchange site and for a POV we're a stand alone installation (but Exchange is still installed on our box).
A typical UM installation you install the Unity server as a memeber server into an existing domain and install the Exchange 5.5 server on our box into the customer's existing Exchange site. You're done.
For a POV you typically install Unity as a PDC with Exchange 5.5 installed in it's own Org and you're done.
the OS installation and application requirements on the box are identical regardless of if you're POV or UM.
The install guide I sent you earlier lists the NT requirements for SP versions and applications that need to be on the box. Win2K is even simpler since it installs just about everything we need (outside of Exchange) automatically.
