I have a problem with connecting with the PBX. The PBX phone cannot call the IP phone and neither can do the other way round. Just no response whatsoever. However, the E1 controller and the lines are up.
My config for 3662 is:

We changed the PBX settings, mostly the signaling part, but not too much with the dialing plan or some system parameters. The change is made according to a Cisco Web Docu for setting E1R2 with Lucent PBX, though county is different.
I also tried by using r2-digital r2-compelled, but with no use.
The cable is RJ-48-BNC.
Any one know how to change the setting of PBX? I think the only part may be wrong is the sinaling because we tried FXS phone to talk with IP phone and it worked.
Can we use E1 E&M sigaling? I think this should be simpler. But how to match the setting on router and PBX?
Pls. post reply or send email to zhao_shi@hotmail.com. Thanks a lot.

Hi rushrus
yes you can use your E1 with E&M signalin I have this configuration in my Voip Implementation
try with this command on you router
controller E1 1/0
framing NO-CRC4
ds0-group 0 timeslots 1-12 type e&m-immediate-start
cas-custom 0
description Pruebas de Voz sobre IP en La WAN
But remember configue your PBX trunk-gruop with the follow settings
Group type : tie
Trunk Type (in/out) : immed/immed
Regards
Now I have a quiestion for you
I try to configure this on with FXS port but really I dont know which kind of trunk and settings do I have to use.
