Hiding the "Show Detail" Softkey on 8800 phones

Is there a way to hide the "Show Detail" softkey on 8800 series phones?

When the phone is in the Connected state, there is a softkey labeled: Show Detail.

It is not configured in the softkey template.

I'm hoping there is a way to remove it.

CUCM Verison: 11.5.1.11900-26

Phone Firmware: 11-7-1-17

Any softkeys that you see on the device, but are not listed in the softkey template, are hardcoded in the phone FW and not configurable.

I suspected that.

Would be nice if we had total control of the softkeys.

I would gladly give up that softkey to avoid users having to hit the More button just to get to the one other option they want. If it wasn't for the Show Detail, all the options they need would be on one screen.
