Intercluster Trunk Problem

Problem: I have 5 sites that are connected via Corp backbone (no firewalls) intercluster trunks. 4 of the 5 sites work without any problems, but I have one site that no matter which other sites call it, the first call will fail and then the second call to the same user will go through. On the failures the user hears the phone ring but when the remote user answers they hear dead air and the other user hears reorder tone. But as soon as the user hangs up and calls again the call connects and both users can talk. Everytime though the first call will fail with rings then reorder tone and then the second call will go through perfect. It seems to only be incoming call that are affected because the problem site can call out via intercluster trunk without a problem, but all other 4 sites experience the same problem when they call that one site.

No gatekeepers are used and every site is using g711. Any suggestions?

Can you make a test call to simulate the problem. record the time and examine the CCM trace files where the phones are registered to.

If you can post those traces here.

Also try to ping a phone from your main site to your remote site(THE SITE WITH THE PROBLEM)Make the ping continuous with -t. See whether you can see any packet drops or not
