Would like to create a "speed dial" using a translation pattern. The TP is *14 mask 011123456789. this will match a 9.@ route pattern. We have to use the 9.@ because we are using an AT&T 4ESS PRI with the PreDot IntlAccess IntlDirectDial discard digit instruction. We we just try to dial the number the call will wait for the timeout and the call will go through. When we use the *14 translation pattern we hear 10 seconds of dial tone then the call goes through. why am i hearing dial tone?
