IP Communicator and Netscreen Remote

Good Afternoon All,

I'm just wondering if anybody could help me with a problem I am having.

I have a Remote user who accesses CallManager using a VPN Tunnel (via Netscreen Remote) and Cisco IP Communicator. Internal Calls work great i.e. if I call him he can hear me and I can hear him.

However when he makes an External Call he gets about 1min of a conversation then the call is dropped, I think this may be the Netscreen Remote that causes the call to drop as you have to reactivate the security policy to get the IP Communicator to work again.

Is there any reason why an Internal Call will work fine and external calls don't? I get the same problem if I try to transfer somebody to him as well.

He can hear me fine and I can hear him but as soon as I transfer an external call to him the line is dropped again. Could this be down to packet size? Would it increase on an External Call?

Has anybody got any experience with Netscreen and Traffic Shaping?

Hope this makes sense and someone can help me.

I remember facing this problem some time ago. I think Netscape Remote is the culprit here.
