Hi I hope someone might be able to help me here
We run CCM4.2 and recently I had a user who's Cisco7960 IP phone was dead
We used a 7961 which was originally registered to another user who was no longer working for us
I deleted the phone from the system and also deleted the User above's phone and line details from the system
Then I created a new profile with the 7961 and its MAC address
On doing this the phone came to life but the confusing thing is that the Call Manager is still seeing it as 'Not Registered' though the phone is working and can make and receive calls
Please can anyone shed light to what might be going on

try restarting the RIS services

I have re-started the RIS service on the call manager pub and subs and is still the same situation
