to reduce the dial peer statments or configuration in the VOIP, MCM will help.

I have diffculty in managing the dial peers .. i have sixty 1750v routers enabled with VOIP. In HO i have 3640.

i understand with MCM .. 1750 can first register with MCM to get the ip number to dial .. and i have to configure only the pots in the 1750 .

if mcm will help.. then where i should deploy the MCM.. in HO? then if in case of wan congestion , do 1750 will have diffculty in registering with MCM? any QOS required for h323 traffic.. currently i use RSVP with wfq.

which ios will support this mcm on 3640..

Yes, you could configure the gatekeeper/MCM functionality on the 3640 at HO and all the client 1750's can register to it to simply dial peer management.

No reservation is required for the H.323 traffic. You need to reserve only for the RTP stream ie., the actual voice traffic.
