Message retrieval failing

After a dual integration upgrade from Unity 2.4.6 to Unity 4.0.2, I can call and leave messages for subscribers but when I go to retrieve I get the message 'the system is not accessible at the moment'. Anybody seem this before??

whenever you get that failsafe message there's always one or more errors in the application event log - that's the place to start.

Best guess is you don't have message store rights on the mailstore facing account and we're being denied the ability to log into other user's mailboxes to check messages - but that's just a guess at this point, the error message(s) will give us more to go on.

Although all the rights were in place it still did not work but after an Exchange 5.5 reboot, everything syched up. I think this is something I should have done anyway.
