Phone busy if one line is busy

Is it possible to make the primary line on a 7960 appear busy if the person is talkning on a seccond line?

Example:

I have a shared line on my phone showing the status of my co-workers pone. It works fine as long as he talks on his primary line. If he talks on another line that is on his phone, I am not able to see if he is busy...

Any Help would be nice.

first of all, i want to make sure what exactly you try to say.

Second line?? Is that is one of your appearance key??

If that is the case, I guess You have to make shared line with his second line to see busy or not then

If you are talking about second line at the first appearance key, I thought u should see busy.

Correct me if I am wrong.

That would be seccond line on another key.

I was hoping to be able to link the two lines in a way, so one is busy if the other one is and vise versa.

There is not enough keys on my device to make shared lines for both ...
